How to Establish a Company in Turkey

Foreign individuals and legal entities are subject to the same rules as local investors when establishing companies in Turkey.
Preparation of the Company’s Articles of Association: This includes the company name, address, business activities, and names of the partners (Turkish and foreign nationals can be included as partners or representatives. However, foreigners must first obtain a tax number from the tax office and register with the Central Registration System (MERSIS) by applying to the trade registry office).
Company formation procedures are carried out electronically via the Central Registration System (MERSIS).
Booking an appointment with the Chamber of Commerce to submit all required documents.
Payment of necessary company establishment fees.
Signing the articles of association in front of a Chamber of Commerce officer.
Publishing the company formation in the Trade Registry Gazette.
Receiving the company’s official ledgers.
Obtaining the signature declaration of the authorized manager at the notary public.
Articles of association signed by the founders (or by the attorney with a power of attorney).
A notarized power of attorney for the legal lawyer to act on your behalf in establishing and registering the company.
Personal tax number issued in the names of the partners.
A document showing that at least 25% of the committed capital in cash has been deposited in the bank (This is only required for establishing a joint stock company. For a limited liability company, this document is not necessary).
Personal photos of each company partner.
